Bienvenue à l'École LaVérendrye!

École LaVérendrye is a vibrant Nursery to Grade 6 French Immersion Milieu school which offers all subjects (aside from English Language Arts) taught in French.  This includes Physical Education, Music, Art, Library time, as well as the majority of our school clubs (found here!).

French language and cultural activities are promoted throughout the school year with the goal of engaging our students in their French language learning.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of French activities including Festival du Voyageur, Concours d'Art Oratoire, French language performances, guest artists, guest readers, enrichment activities in Science and Technology (STEAM and Expo-Sciences), Grade 5 French Immersion Honour Choir, and field trips within the community that offer instruction and activities in French.

Our staff strives to ensure that a safe and respectful learning environment is provided for all of our students in order to meet their academic and social-emotional needs.
