IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PERMIT APPLICATION ACCEPTANCE DATE
The Permit Department is excited to announce a significant update that will enhance the experience for our permit customers.
Permits will be transitioning to a new software system for managing permits, which will modernize the application process and provide real-time information on school availability. This change means that we will not accepting applications until mid-September with permits starting in October as usual, this is to ensure a smooth transition.
Once the new system is live, applicants will need to visit Winnipeg School Division website, where they can create an account. The built-in prompts will guide users through the application process, allowing them to view available schools and apply directly through the website.
This upgrade is designed to empower applicants with the information needed to make well-informed decisions regarding school selections.
*This means we will not be accepting applications for the 2024/25 school year on June 1. Instead they will be accepted them mid-September. This change in acceptance dates will not affect the start date of permits. The process will be streamlined to provide permits in a timely fashion.

Application
All applications must be completed in full. Please submit all applications a minimum of 15 working days prior to the dated required.

Facilities
WSD facilities are given on a first come first serve basis, with the needs of the group in mind and the authority of the principal to use their school.
