Cell phone / Smart phone School policy

Dear École Riverview Families,

Please be aware that the use of personal cell phones and smart devices by students in our school is prohibited. Students are being asked to proactively hand in their smart pĥones or devices in a “check-in” spot in their classroom for safekeeping, or leaving them out of sight, in their bags while at school. If a student forgets, they are expected to turn it in as soon as reminded. If a student leaves the classroom with their phone, it will be confiscated until the end of day. Please note that the policy explicitly states that damage to smart phones/devices is not the school’s responsibility.
