About

May 7, 2026

The Adolescent Parent Centre is a school that was created to support youth, ages 15 to 21 years of age, who are pregnant and/or parenting to complete their high school education. The location at 136 Cecil St was established in 1989, combining 2 programs for adolescent parents, including one located in Point Douglas. In September 2026, the Adolescent Parent Centre will join Children of the Earth High School and we are proud to be bringing the Adolescent Parent Centre back to Winnipeg’s North End. APC students will continue to be part of the Adolescent Parent Interagency Network and supported by our Public Health Nurse, Huddle, and Career Trek. Students will also have the opportunity to access supports through CEDA.
