Welcome to Our Grade 1 Class! 

Our Grade 1 class is a vibrant and exciting place where young learners take their first steps toward becoming independent, curious, and confident students. Here, we focus on creating a nurturing environment that offers a love of learning through play, exploration, and hands on activities.

What We Learn:

In Grade 1, students dive into a variety of subjects, including:

Reading and Writing: We build foundational literacy skills through fun stories, interactive reading activities, and creative writing exercises.  

Math:  Our students explore numbers, patterns, and basic operations, all while developing problem-solving skills through games and group activities.

Science: From learning about plants and animals to exploring the weather and seasons, we encourage curiosity and hands on discovery in the world around us.

Social Studies: Students learn about their community, family, and traditions, helping them understand their place in the world.

Art and Creativity: Creativity flourishes in Grade 1, where students express themselves though drawing, painting, and crafting.

Our Classroom Environment:

Our classroom is designed to be a safe and inclusive space where every child feels valved. We encourage teamwork, kindness, and respect for others. Each student is given the opportunity to express their individuality while working together with classmates.
