Room 135

Welcome to Room 135!

My name is April Wiebe and I am excited to be teaching grade four at Machray school. This year in grade four, we are embracing our magical "YET" and adopting a growth mindset to set and achieve our learning goals. We will focus on the things we can't do yet but are excited to learn and improve upon throughout the year. Our classroom will be a place where we celebrate progress, support each other, and continually strive to reach new milestones.

Here's a little about what our classroom learning will look like:

Literacy Program: Our literacy program will include daily reading and journal writing, along with creative writing tasks, to help build confident and expressive readers and writers.
Math Program: We will engage in group tasks and conversations, alongside daily lessons, to develop confident and skilled problem solvers in math.
Science and Social Studies: In science, we will learn to ask questions and investigate the world around us. In social studies, we will explore our country and discover how to be responsible citizens who care for our land and community.
