February sure flew by! The students continued learning about Canada’s North and had the opportunity to study famous artist Ted Harrison! They created art inspired by the Yukon’s landscape and they each made thier own unique Inukshuk which represent differerent meanings to the northern culture.  We have also continued learning about habitats and communities and have had the opportunity to research differenty types of food chains! The students have been working hard on fractions and playing a lot of different math games to solidfy thier learning! I love to read month has come to an end and the students were able to enjoy many different activities based on reading! Remember it is very important to practice reading every night for atleast 20 minutes.  We are looking forward to seeing  you at parent-teacher conferences later on this month!
