The class had a fantastic February. The class had so much fun on Valentine’s Day getting to decorate Valentine’s bags, and making and handing out their Valentine’s! They also had a lot of fun writing/ creating “Things I Love a Sloth!”.
February was I Love to Read month, and the students loved having all the guest readers come in! They really enjoyed having Mrs. Naylor read some books to them in the library, and trying to guess all of the “mystery readers” on the announcements was so much fun!
In March we will be finishing our Science unit on Position and Motion and moving on to a new unit. In Social Studies we will be continuing to learn more about Communities in Canada. In Math we have started our unit on Linear Measurement, as well as continuing to practice our number sense with our Number of the Day!
We have two upcoming field trips in the month of March; the Royal Aviation Museum and the Freeze Frame Festival! It is going to be an exciting month!
