Ms. Fraser

September has flown by, and we are well into our learning. It was wonderful to see all the families come out for Meet the Staff in September. It’s always nice to meet new families and say hello to families we already know. This year we will be embarking on many learning journeys and exploring a variety of topics which you will all see in the parent package when it gets sent home in the upcoming days. Please watch for it in your child’s backpack. 

I am excited to get to know your children and their many passions and learn alongside them this year. The beginning of the year has started off well with a lovely, community-based feeling in our room and we have had many discussions about the 7 Teachings and respecting each other and the school. We will be creating “Truth Turtles” that allow us to acknowledge the importance of who we are as individuals and why our beliefs and passions are important to stay true to, as well as to accept others for their own individual truths. 

I look forward to the months ahead and the busyness of the school year and for all students to follow their truth throughout the school year. We have been lucky in our room this year, as we have received brand new desks and chairs. We had a lovely workshop in the classroom about allen keys and learned how to use them when we had to lift the desks to a higher level. We had a lot of fun and helped each other. It was great to see all the cooperation taking place. I have attached a few photos for your viewing.
